Exploring the Relationship between Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment and Performance in Commercial Banks in Two African Countries

Although the relationship between organizational culture, commitment and performance has been thoroughly researched in most developed countries, not much research conducted developing especially Africa. Thus, being sparked by erratic performance, an on-line survey was among to reflect above relationships. With respect employees from a commercial bank two African test 12 (twelve) hypotheses which were postulated commitment, study focused on three antecedents, namely, normative, affective continuance rather than composite concept. Upon analysis of data non-probability sample 265 respondents using structural equation modelling, it ascertained that there is no antecedents both combined, as well individual samples. However, although existed culture employee strong positive performance. Considering findings do necessarily concur with what reported literature, implications sampled banks for future research, are discussed.
